Just keep on walking

When I saw the publicity for this walk, I thought 'why not?' Walking is something I have been doing five to seven days a week anyhow, so might as well do something of value for others. My walking started last March for cardio rehap, four month after my heart bypass surgery. I have been walking through my neighborhood, seeing many things I've taken for granted the 40+ years I've lived here. I began to see many people I don't know, or didn't. and always greet them. Most days when walking now, I wear my bright red shirt, and do get asked about it. Currently I am walking an average of 110 miles a month, and hope to reach 1,000 miles by the end of the year.
Thank you for giving me another very good reason to be out there, picking them up and putting them down.
