100 Miles For Hope is a lifesaver

Montpelier, OH

At the start of last year’s 100 Miles challenge, I weighed 270 lbs. and my blood pressure wasn’t under control. I credit it for a 20-pound weight reduction and getting me healthy enough to survive a bout with COVID. It’s a great program with many benefits. It has always been my philosophy: “If it’s worth doing it’s worth overdoing!” If a chunky 61-year-old can do this, anyone can. I just crossed the 101.2 mile mark on Day 6.
