Post 322 participated in Saline’s annual Memorial Day wreath-laying ceremony. Wreaths were sponsored by Saline American Legion Post 322, Ladies Auxiliary Unit 322, Sons of the Legion Post 322, The Knights of Columbus, Washtenaw County Vietnam Veterans of Michigan, Chapter 310, Senior Miss Poppy and Junior Miss Poppy.
Of interest is Junior Miss Poppy, Addison Busha. Parade Sgt.-at-Arms/retired Navy Chief George Perrault (me) had just taught Addison how to salute the wreath by placing her hand over her heart.
You will see when I told her hand salute - look how she looked up at me to more or less say, did I get it right?
Words can’t describe it unless you were there. As you can see, her wreath is especially made for the Junior Miss Poppy in comparison to the others.
