Implications of a chance meeting en route to basic 30 years later

In October 1984, I left Alabama for Air Force basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. When the plane landed at San Antonio, I offered to help a cute red-headed young woman with her baggage. After we exchanged greetings, we went our separate ways. Well as luck (or fate) would have it, that cute red-headed girl was also going to Air Force Basic Training at Lackland Air Force Base. Once again by luck (or fate) we kept "running into each other" there. It is kind of hard to date at basic training, so we would go to church together every Sunday during our six weeks at Lackland. We dated while she was at technical school, and by luck (or fate) her extended training took her to Maxwell Air Force Base, where I was assigned. We married the next year, just celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary and still have out weekly dates every Sunday at church.
