What I remember most about basic training

What I remember most about basic training was the early rising and doing physical training well before daybreak. It didn't stop there though: Before each meal we had to go through a gauntlet of pull-ups, the ladder apparatus, 25 push-ups and 25 sit-ups, then wait to eat.

My worst memory? Well, truthfully while I have some challenging memories in and of themselves, my memories were all beneficial. I know it's an unusual response but basic was an overall good and positive experience.
