Move that rock!

In 1970 while taking basic training at Fort Lewis, Wash., my company one day marched up a mountain where the company commander spied this rock that he thought would look great in front of our billets. So we were ordered to roll the rock back to the company area. The rock weighed 300 to 400 pounds. When we got it back to the company area, we painted it white with the company logo on it. Two nights later, another company stole the rock and buried it in the low-crawl pit.
Oh, the joys of basic training! Ha! Ha!
