El Centro CA (21 May 2016)
Boyce Aten American Legion Post 25 teamed up with the Imperial Valley VFW Post 9305 and held a "Blue Lives Matter" Appreciation Luncheon for the El Centro Police Department (ECPD).
With +20 members of the ECPD and Mayor Pro-Tem Alex Cardenas in attendance, the commanders and several other members expressed their sincere appreciation for each ECPD officer, their service and commitment to the safety of the people in our community. In addition, an Appreciation Plaque was presented to the ECPD from both organizations. ECPD Chief of Police Eddie Silva Madueño expressed his gratitude to the organizations for taking the time to support and recognize all the ECPD personnel.
Lunch was served along with and followed by a whole lot of camaraderie and thanks.
