Robert Bethel American Legion receives $25,000 donation

Fort Lauderdale, FL

Tuesday, March 21, 2017, At the BB&T Center, Sunrise, Fla.
The Florida Panthers Foundation, a philanthropic foundation owned and operated by the Florida Panthers Hockey Organization, presented Robert Bethel American Legion Post 220 a donation of $25,000 to be used to help the post build and/or acquire different facilities. Post 220 has outgrown its present location and is presently seeking donated funds to move to a more convenient location to better serve the community. Broward County Commissioner Dale V. C. Holness has been very active in assisting Post 220 in this effort. He was personally responsible for coordinating the gift with our post commander Lawrence Roberts and Vincent Viola, chairman and governor, Florida Panthers.
