Mary Starr, WWII nurse, arrived to her duty station in England on D-Day. She and her husband both served in the Army.
Mary "Greg" Starr passed away peacefully Saturday, April 21, 2018. She was a member of Homer White American Legion Post 66, joining right after the war ended.
A year before her passing she was awarded a certificate and plaque of appreciation.
