My husband, Patrick Mooney, was selected to be the grand marshal of this year's veterans celebration in Throggs Neck. Throggs Neck Memorial Post 1456 had a luncheon and a breakfast for him. He received a citation from Councilman Mark Gjonaj. There was a ceremony at Veteran's Memorial Park that was widely attended by our patriotic community. Patrick would like to thank all those who made this possible, especially the parade committee.
