Family military service

My great-great grandfather on my mother's side served in "D" Company, 13th Regiment, New Jersey Volunteers during the Civil War. My mother's father served in the 92 Regiment of Foot-The Gordon Highlanders during World War I, British Expeditionary Force in France. My great-grand-uncle served in the Spanish-American War in Cuba, and during World War I in the Army. I had a grand-uncle Army, and a grand-cousin Navy, during World War I. On my father's side, my grandfather is a retired Army master sergeant, brevet captain when he retired in 1946. He enlisted in 1901 and served in the Philippines, Alaska and Panama, among other places, and was an instructor at West Point. My father served in the Marine Corps during World War II as a platoon sergeant in the Amphibious Recon Co/Bn, FMFPac, and was involved at Apaamama Atoll, Gilbert Islands, in the Marshall Islands, Siapan and Tinian, Iwo Jima and Okinawa among other operations in the Pacific theatre, and as a sergeant (E-5) in motor transport Dec. 1965-Jan. 1967 in Vietnam. He made SSGT after his return from Vietnam. My one cousin served in the Marine Corps during Korea. I have a nephew serving in the Army now. He is a captain and has served several tours in Iraq, the Army and Afghanistan. His wife also served in the Army. I served in the Marine Corps as a sergeant (E-5) in Vietnam May 1968-May 1969. My Marine Corps time was from March 1964-March 1972. My one brother served in the Navy 1965-1967.
