Maryland governor issues proclamation that March 30 is Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan issued a proclamation for March 30, 2020, declaring the day Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day. Francis Scott Key Squadron 11 member Josh Marks requested this proclamation. Marks stated, “In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, our governor ensured he recognized our Vietnam veterans on March 30, 2020. He truly is a veterans governor. His office always prioritizes our requests. He has a great team In place.“

Francis Scott Key Post 11 is the largest and one of the oldest posts in the great state of Maryland.
