Jandreau-Connors Post 180 Legionnaire Gary Michaud of St. Francis, Maine, came to the rescue of Ol’ Glory during a recent blizzard that destroyed the flagpole. While many may have chosen to wait out the storm, Gary, a Vietnam veteran, braved the storm and retrieved the downed American flag.
