From American Legion Post 18 in Silver City comes the Story Corps "Military Voices" Library of Congress-archived interview of WWII veterans, Randy Miller, US Army 63rd Field Hospital medic and Mario Kirker, US Navy LST 123 1st gunner; who tell their WWII military-duty stories by an interview with their friend and retired USAF firefighter/structural craftsman David Morrison; now a Disabled Veterans Outreach Program specialist in Silver City, who also accompanied them as a guardian on SW New Mexico's Honor Flight 13 to Washington, D.C., war memorials last October.
