For the first time in the history of American Legion Post 42 of Ocean Springs, three current members of Post 42 are serving at the district and state level. Congratulations go to Robert Endt, elected Southern Area Vice Commander; Ivan McAllister, District 9 Commander; and Anita McAllister, elected Auxiliary Department Second Vice President. They will assist Angela Baughman from Bay Springs, Miss., who was elected Department Commander, the first woman elected to lead the Mississippi American Legion's 16,000 members at the state convention held in July in Vicksburg, Miss.
