American Legion Spokane Post 9 participated in the nation's largest annual Armed Forces Torchlight Parade on May 20, 2023. They were joined by Spokane Valley Post 241 members. Post 9 members, members of the Post 9 American Legion Riders, Unit 9 Auxiliary members and Boy Scouts rode in Air Force National Guard trucks and were greeted by standing and clapping parade attendees. The American Legion Family was well represented, and its name will be remembered in the community.
