Fondest memory - lesson learned

Minier, IL

In basic training we had a big old first sergeant from Mississippi. He gathered us all together and told us in this here man's army there is no race, you are a group of young men with different skin color and are all brothers who has each other's backs. Remember when in combat and get wounded, we all bleed red amd that is our color. This is a lesson learned that we all must take to heart.

Thanks for listening,
retired M/sgt Albert E. Dunham
