The Las Vegas NYPD 10-13 Club invited members of American Legion Paradise Post 149 to join them for the annual remembrance of the terrorist attacks on 9/11/2001. The members of the 10-13 club are retired members of NYPD and the NY Port Authority Police, some of whom lost friends on that fateful day.
Several metro police officers were in attendance, including one who was a prior NYPD officer. Also in attendance were Clark County Commissioner Larry Brown and Las Vegas City Councilman Stavos Anthony, himself a retired police officer.
