I'm always looking for a good human interest story of our local people. Here is one that is true to our hearts.
As you may know, the Shulind family has had their hard times this past year. This fine young man has joined our armed service for the love he had for his father and the love for his Country. We cant thank him enough for his sacrifice.
Ethan Shulind from Grand Forks, N.D., has always had a love of trap shooting, with multiple first-place awards. He shoots with his Grandfather Jim Shulind. Ethan decided to join the Army National Guard when he was still in High school. Ethan is a graduate of Central High school in Grand Forks. Soon after the loss of his father, Ethan completed his basic training, went on to AIT for combat engineering at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. He has a younger sister he adores and protects with everything he has. He has a GREAT love of country and is proud to be one of the men and women who are there to fight for our freedom. He is 18 with a heart of gold. He is one amazing young man.
