American Legion SchLoeMan Post 547 (Monroeville, Ohio) Historian Bill Stang, with Dick Palmer and Bob Good, brought a refurbished WWII gun back to the WWII Memorial in Commons Park on May 17. These Post 547 members, plus Jim Ruffing, took the gun to a local metal-finish shop last fall, where it was restored to its original finish, only charging for materials.
