On the afternoon of Friday, Dec. 17, Commander Chris Couture and Past Commander Dave Connelly from Seicheprey American Legion Post 2, Bristol, traveled to the Salvation Army Church, Brain’s Angels location and the Veterans Center at City Hall to present a check donation to each. They were presented on behalf of the American Legion Family from Post 2 along with happy wishes for Christmas.
A number of toys collected by the post was turned over to the Bristol Police Department toy drive for the town's Salvation Army Children Christmas handout.
Later in the day the post responded to a request sent out from Ingraham Manor for art supplies. American Legion Family members and their families responded by loading up a car and dropping it off at Ingraham Manor.
