The 29th District Boys State Orientation Dinner was held at Newport Harbor Post 291 on May 16, 2013. Post 291 hosted the event for more than 290 people; those in attendance included 83 delegates, their parents, post commanders and chairmen.

The dinner is vital in that it brings the delegates and parents together to outline what they will need to bring, what will happen once they are there and more important where to get on the bus. This year's 76th session delegates are representing more than 20 schools from Orange County, Calif.
