Veterans in Saline County, Mo., were honored for their service Thursday, Nov. 10, at two area local schools. Students and staff at Malta Bend School again provided a breakfast and program honoring veterans. After the breakfast an 8:30 a.m. program was conducted by students, where service-branch hymns were played and patriotic songs were sung by younger students. In addition, Marshall High School and the Marshall FFA also provided breakfast, and an assembly program honoring veterans.

The breakfasts and programs were greatly appreciated by those veterans who attended.
