ASIAN STAINED is a sequel to NAPALM'S EMBRACE. It consists of 15 short stories; the first 7 are set in Vietnam, the second 8, back here on the home front.

The emphasis of the book is on the home front stories. They deal with the difficulties veterans faced returning home, and the direct impact on families who had sons serving in that war.

As the home front stories progress, they become shorter and shorter depicting the downward arc of Vietnam into history.

The Silver Star Sonnet in the epilogue serves as a gravestone to that most divisive war our country has ever fought
