Eastern Oklahoma VA Health Care System Opens New CBOC

The McCurtain County VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Idabel, OK held an Open House for Veterans and the public on August 11.

Tours of the clinic were available, and representatives were present from Primary Care, Women’s Health, Suicide Prevention, Tele-Health, My HealtheVet, Care in the Community and Patient Advocates’ office.

In February 2017, the VA awarded STG International, Inc. (STGi) a contract to operate the new clinic in McCurtain County as part of the Eastern Oklahoma VA Health Care System.

The McCurtain County CBOC will provide a full range of onsite and tele-health services for Veterans in the southeast Oklahoma area to include primary care, mental and behavioral health, laboratory, and women’s health services. The new CBOC will be approximately 7,000 square feet and is projected to serve 1,300 enrolled Veterans within the first year.
