Morrison (Ill.) American Legion Post 328 and several volunteers (ages 15-92) planted over 1,000 flags on veterans graves' on Saturday, May 21, at Grove Hill Cemetery. The flags will stay up until the June 4.

Additionally, Donna Geerts and her family continue the tradition set forth by Al Geerts and other Legionnaires of planting about 200 flags in over a dozen rural cemeteries Many miles are accumulated and some for just a couple of veterans' graves.
