Fourth annual concert to benefit our wounded warriors

Rochester, NY

On Saturday, Aug. 15, the streets of Greece, N.Y., were rumbling with the sounds of motorcycles and patriotic vehicles as a motorcade escorted six wounded warrior guests of honor to the fourth annual Wounded Warrior Benefit Concert. The event began with an opening ceremony at the Veterans Memorial at the Greece Town Hall complex.
Immediately after the ceremony the motorcade took a 14-mile ride through the town of Greece and was welcomed by friendly residents waiving and showing their appreciation. The final destination was the Wounded Warrior Benefit Concert that took place at The Greece American Legion Post 468. This year the guests were Lyndon Villone, Dan Gearinger, Patrick LaJuitt (Marine Corps veterans) and Rick Yarosh, James Auld and Robert Kinzel (Army veterans).
Post Commander Ralph Presciutti with the support of the post team, has been hosting these benefit concerts for the past four years to help support the efforts of various non-profit organizations for the work they do in helping our wounded warriors. This year's benefit raised over $25,000 in net proceeds that were allocated to these three beneficiaries.
We know that not every Veterans organization is able to host an event like this but many have supported our efforts with financial donations. We are already planning the fifth annual concert to benefit our wounded warriors. If you would like to learn more please contact us at commander@greecepost468.com
