Many members of the American Legion Newport Harbor Post 291 gathered together on Thursday, July 26th at the exhibit Let Freedom Ring at the Orange County Fair in Southern California. A steel beam section from the World Trade Center was displayed to remind us all of the events on 9/11. The display serves as an opportunity for fair goers to remember both our strength and vulnerability as a nation.

Legionnaire, John Stansbury, was on hand to lead the crowd in song with God Bless America and The Star Spangled Banner to enthusiastic applause of fair goers.
