Legion Riders Chapter 39 host benefit ride for Long Ranch 4 Boys

Valley Head, AL

Veterans and friends came together to make possible a ride to benefit young boys who one day will be young men. Legion Riders Chapter 39 and American Legion Auxiliary Unit 39 of Valley Head Ala., coordinated a 75-mile ride with riders from different groups from Alabama and Tennessee, and raised a total of $1,600 for Long Ranch 4 Boys in Fyffe, Ala.

Long Ranch 4 Boys is an overflow of a passion and calling in the life of the Long family. Paul, Kristy, Crimson and Japeth desire to minister to boys 5-18 who need help in difficult situations. Their vision and prayer for Long Ranch is to provide children with a solid family structure that will love them, encourage them and equip them to be Godly adults in their communities and homes. Proverbs 22:6 says to "train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it."
