The American Legion Riders from Black River (N.Y.) Post 673 have again done another ride which serves the community, which covers Watertown, Fort Drum, and Jefferson County. Our rides for the past four years have raised money to help the veterans, soldiers and families of Jefferson County. We have done our ride keeping in mind what we can do to help the veterans who otherwise can't get help or just need a helping hand to get back on their feet. Over the past four years we have raised over $35,000, which we give to the Watertown Urban Mission which helps veterans, their families, soldiers and their families. We hold our ride on the first weekend in June every year. This year we presented another check to the mission for $10,000 to help the cause.
