Legion Riders escort WWII Navy veteran's remains home

American Legion Riders from El Dorado, Kan., Wichita, Kan., and several Central Kansas chapters had the honor of escorting the remains of Seaman Louis Wagoner to his final resting place in Whitewater, Kan.
Seaman Wagoner was killed when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor Dec. 7, 1941. Wagoner was on USS Oklahoma when it sank. His remains were identified last year with DNA testing from relatives.
More than 150 Riders, combat vets and the Christian Motorcycle Association, showed up to pay their respect and escort his remains from Wichita to Whitewater.
Seaman Wagoner was buried with full military honors.
