On Saturday, Oct. 21, John J. Morris Post 62 in Peoria, Ariz., hosted the Sons of The American Legion Oktoberfest. All parts of the family helped with the event, but the SAL took full lead and came out in full support. They sold over 300 dinner tickets prior to event, and almost 20 more bought at the door. There was an amazing meal that took days to prepare for that many meals; we also had a raffle. The hundreds of attendees all said the food was amazing. The work put in by everyone was monumental, and the post salutes them for their efforts.
