In late April, the John J. Morris Post 62 in Peoria, Ariz., hosted their campout in Cottonwood, Ariz., at Dead Horse State Park. Post 62 prepared 170 meals to members from all over Arizona. Over $13,000 was raised for charities including Children's Welfare Foundation, Boys State, ALECA and Champ Foundation. Post 62 donated the cost of food for the event. The meeting and awards received a great response by all.
