NH American Legion Riders Chapter 9 Donates to Liberty House

American Legion Post # 51 Richard A. Mitchel - Epping, NH

American Legion Riders Chapter 9 from Epping, N.H., by means of a 50/50 raffle raised $1,175.00 to donate to the Liberty House in Manchester, N.H. Chapter 9 Director Kevin Murnane saw that there was a need for computer equipment and donated his own personal laptop to the Liberty House. Chapter 9 Sgt-at-Arms Don Reynolds (next to Director Kevin Murnane) presented the check from the Legion Riders.

Liberty House provides residents with daily necessities, a substance-free environment, peer support, and a case management team connecting them to the training and resources necessary for a sustainable transition out of homelessness.
Don Duhamel, a Vietnam veteran, established Liberty House in the spring of 2004. The programs is most successful at rehabilitating homeless veterans.

The Liberty House has also been N.H. Department Auxiliary President Sharon Cook's project of the year.
