Zyk Post 272 in Butternut, Wisc., planned, organized, collected, packaged and mailed 41 troop care packages to Afghanistan and Cuba, in support of the Wisconsin National Guard Company 950 Engineers from Superior, Wisconsin.

All Legion posts are invited to share supplies from home that will make life on deployment brighter. Lists of recommended supplies are available from troop commanders or chaplains. Our local communities donated drink mixes, books, snacks, health-care supplies - and enough monetary donations to mail the packages.
