Girl Scouts from Troop 751 recently decorated postcards to be included with the ditty bags being distributed to the residents at the RI Veterans Home at the 5 MARCH 2011 BINGO.

Post & Unit 18 provided the card stock, designed and printed the postcard template and provided the stamps. The young ladies from Girl Scout Troop 751 decorated the postcards with a "spring" theme. We hope the vets will mail the postcards to friends and family members.

It was a "win-win" situation: The Scouts had an indoor project to keep them busy during inclement weather, and the Veterans will be getting a custom-made postcard featuring the artistic talents of the Girl Scouts.
