The 2nd Annual Orange County Stand Down was held at the Army Reserve Center in Costa Mesa, CA on August 17-19, 2012.

Veterans First of Orange County hosted this very important event which helps homeless veterans get a new start.

Dozens of social services were on hand to assist the veterans and their families such as employment agencies, housing services, legal services, gov't benefits, medical and mental health providers.

Meals were provided by several organizations all weekend including the American Legion Post 291 in Newport Beach. They served up Breakfast and Lunch on Friday. Music of the 60s & 70s was provided all weekend by DJ Ken Widdall of Post 291 to the delight of everyone.
