The First Navy Birthday Gala was held October 13, 2012 at the American Legion Newport Harbor Post 291, raising money for the Sea Cadets. Thanks to the Navy committee headed by Commander Jess Lawson and 3rd Vice, Ken George, Floyd Sanford, Commodore of American Legion Yacht Club, Steve Porter, and Larry Butler. A huge success!! It was wonderful to have Pearl Harbor Survivors and active military as our guests.
