On Jan. 4, 2024, American Legion Post 67 (Rincón, PR) and family members took time away from their holiday festivities to visit the “Hogar de Niños Regazo de Paz,” an institution that provides battered, abused and abandoned children and/or victims of domestic violence with a home where their basic needs are met. Post 67 collected toys and clothing for children with ages ranging between 0 and 8. Much-needed office supplies were also collected and donated to the institution. Time was spend opening toys and playing with the kids. A memorable day for all who participated.
