Women veterans contribute to Quilts of Valor

Springfield, MO

Women Veterans of Southwest Missouri American Legion Post 1214 showed their support for combat veterans in August 2016 by donating 93 yards of patriotic fabric and eight rolls of batting to the Ozark Piecemaker's Quilt Guild's "Quilts of Valor" program in Springfield. The collection drive was held in conjunction with United Way of the Ozarks' 24th Annual Day of Caring.
