On April 22, 2017, we had a table at the Riverside Area Veterans Expo held at March Air Reserve Base. Our table provided information about the post and also took sign-ups for those interested in joining. We were the only American Legion post in attendance. Were you there? Did you stop by our table? The purpose of this stand-down was to provide support to veterans in the community as well as connecting them to various resources. In the photo are (left) Matthew Sanchez, a U.S. Army veteran with his service dog Prophet, and (right) Bob Connor U.S. Navy/Air Force Vietnam veteran. We believe that through community service we can bring vets of all eras together.
