Post 572 shares Christmas joy

Parma, OH

Members of Joseph J. Jacubic Post 572 in Parma, Ohio, gave up some of their Christmas Eve family time to spread some Xmas joy to the veterans at the West Bay Nursing Home.
The Auxiliary stuffed 60 stockings with items donated by members. Commander Tony Kessler stated, "We received so many donations from our members, we had to carry four boxes full of items to the home in addition to the stockings." It was very gratifying to see the joy in their faces when we walked into a room. This will become a annual outing for our post.
Making the trip were: Commander Tony Kessler, 2nd Vice John Rader (Santa Claus), honor guard members Ray Kogler and Bob Piatek, and Auxiliary members Patti Lynch and Rosemarie Shenyey. The trip was planned and organized by Auxiliary member Shirley Kessler.
