100 Miles For Hope

Uncasville, CT

Today, Aug 13, 2020: my walk, in support of The American Legion's 100 Miles For Hope campaign, which was brought
about to bring attention and help to The American Legion's Veterans & Children Foundation, was another short day. My walk had me visiting VFW Post 10060, Montville, Conn., and American Legion Post 112, Montville. Today was more of another cool-down walk day. I walked 5 miles today, bringing my total miles walked to date to 81.8.

100 Miles For Hope

The American Legion provides a lot of aid to individual servicemembers (active duty and former active duty) and their families every year. The American Legion does this through financial aid and a multitude of assistance programs. The American Legion national commander asked for help to raise/replenish much needed financial assistance for the Veterans & Children Foundation so the American Legion Family can continue to do what we do best: HELP VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES.

WE THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP YOU CAN PROVIDE.

The American Legion’s success depends entirely on active membership, participation and volunteerism. The American Legion belongs to the people it serves and the communities in which it thrives.
