On Labor Day I logged my 100th mile of biking, 30 days after signing up for the commander's challenge. This picture was taken at the end of the Virgil Gilman Trail in Sugar Grove, Ill. Traveling back to the start of the trail gave me 11 miles toward my next 100 biking miles. I am also working on 100 miles running and will be there soon. Along with several of my fellow members of Post 43 in Naperville, Ill., I am pleased to support this wonderful cause.
