1958, Fort Ord, California. In my platoon of recruits there were about 10 guys from Utah.

One Tuesday night during Basic, these guys disappeared for about 3 hours. I didn't know where they got their pull but the next Tuesday night, I went with them.

At the door of a recreation center, I told the lady that I was from 'Dragerton, Utah, Sunnyside Stake' (a password phrase I have never forgotten) and I was allowed to enter and dance with a bunch of lovely Mormon ladies.
