American Legion Post 548 officers with PA. Department Commander Kennedy

Pennsylvania American Legion Post 548 TV show promotes 100th anniversary

Bakerstown, PA

Please find below the link to a TV show called “Faces and Places” that aired on
Armstrong Cable TV (channel 100) during the Veterans Day weekend (2018)
in the Pittsburgh/Butler viewing area.

This TV interview represents a Post 548 initiative to bring to the attention of our local
community the important occasion of the 100th anniversary of The American Legion.

Our “objective” was to look sharp and give a professional interview that would in turn:
-promote the American Legion mission(s)
-promote the American Legion programs
-promote membership in The American Legion
-promote the celebration of the 100th anniversary of The American Legion
(Note: all questions were answered impromptu, we had NO questions in advance)

I want to thank the following people for their help in the creation of this TV show:
-Armstrong Cable TV;
Larry Berg – Host
Carmen Bianco - Producer
-26th District Leadership
Jeff Olson, Commander
Carl Curtis, Vice Commander
Mike Murphy (32nd District)
-Shannon Kyle – PA Dept Public Relations
-Post 548 members interviewed:
Bob Schleiden – Commander – “Post Excellence Award” (2018)
Bob Purdue – 32nd District “Adjutant of the Year” (2018)
Harry VanRiper – “Department Chaplain of the Year” (2018)
Cono Passione – Honor Guard Leader

Everyone contributed their very best effort to represent the many facets of The American Legion.
My apologies in advance if we missed a program - we genuinely tried to hit every topic.

Please feel free to distribute and share the video “For The Good of The Legion."

For God and Country,
Bob Schleiden, Commander
American Legion Post 548
Bakerstown 15007
