Every year Post 63 in Northfield, Vt., opens our post to the community for a free Thanksgiving dinner to all. Our volunteers spend the time preparing and cooking turkeys and hams and all the fixings and desserts. We serve between 75 to 125 people. Also students from Norwich University help out. Norwich has a great military program and it is good for them to interact with veterans in our community.
