NE Post 630 color guard presents at 9/11 events

Blue Ash, OH

The NE Post 630 color guard was a busy group on Sept. 11. They were asked to present colors at two separate events. In the morning, they presented the colors and sounded taps at a very respectful 9/11 ceremony sponsored by the Blue Ash Fire Department. Afterwards, firefighters climbed a 11-story tower 10 times to honor those who died on 9/11/01. In the evening the color guard presented the colors before the Deer Park/Reading High School football game. The Deer Park School District honored all veterans and first responders with a pre-game tailgate and then free admission to the game. As the colors were presented, the Deer Park High School Band played the national anthem and then sounded taps.
