During the American Legion Department of Louisiana Convention held at the Best Western Convention Center in Alexandria from June 8-11, 2023, Commission on Media & Communications Chairman Lynette Blanchard (left) and Department Commander Allen Dunn (right) presented the department’s Outstanding Post Scrapbook Award (posts with membership under 300 members) to James O. Hall Post 19 from Jennings. Post 19 also received the Multi/Media Award for articles, stories and other Legion-associated works approved by the American Legion National Headquarters and submitted to national publications. Accepting the awards on behalf of Post 19 was past Post 19 Commander Glenn McFarlain (center).
