During the American Legion Department of Louisiana Convention held in Alexandria June 2-5, Department Vice Commander Carl McGee (left) and Department Commander Richard Bell (right) presented the commander’s Big 12 Goal Date Award, in the category of posts with 15 to 50 members, to Post 183 in DeQuincy for their efforts with membership in 2021-2022. Post 183 has achieved 165% of its membership goal for the year, which is the best in the state among posts in its category.
